Your journal is the context for making your ideas into something much, much more tangible. 

At my lowest point mentally I started writing in my bullet journal - it started out as just small notes jotted down throughout the day or small tidbits i wanted to remember to blog about when i got home and then it slowly turned into me writing down everything i'm grateful for so i can look back when my thoughts get murky and use those words as an anchor to keep me in the present. Buying and orgnizing my bullet journal to fit my everyda needs has been a gamechanger and it has specifically been an aid in my healing process with regards to my mental health.
